The Birth of Nova Smart Ring
From Wrist to Ring: A Smarter Evolution
Amid the rapid evolution of wearable technology, the Nova Smart team made a strategic decision: to channel our extensive experience in smart bands and smartwatches into a new frontier—the smart ring. Our goal was clear: to create a device with greater integration, smaller size, and lighter form, tailored for users who value comfort, style, and precise health tracking.
From Concept to Cosmos
In 2022, after thorough market analysis, we committed to developing a smart ring that fits effortlessly into modern lifestyles—intuitive, elegant, and accessible to everyone. That same year, we launched the concept design phase. Inspired by the night sky, our design team hand-sketched the futuristic outlines of the first Nova Smart Ring.
Crafted to Perfection
From technical feasibility studies to structural miniaturization, we refined the ring's size and form factor with care. Our R&D team advanced industrial design, hardware engineering, and software development in parallel, combining high-precision sensors with proprietary AI health algorithms to dramatically improve data accuracy.
Nova History
After more than two years of iterative development and intensive testing across performance, durability, and usability, we completed small-batch trial production in 2024—laying a solid foundation for launch.
In July,we debuted on Kickstarter and quickly captured global attention.
By August, mass production was underway to ensure quality and supply stability. In September, we successfully concluded the campaign and began global shipments.
At CES 2025, Nova officially launched two original innovations: Nova X—the world's first smart ring featuring a miniaturized silicon-based OLED display, and Nova Pay—a smart ring designed for seamless contactless payments.
