NovaRing Care+ Terms and Conditions

NovaRing Care+ is an optional protection plan provided by NovaHub Inc., offering extended coverage for your Nova Smart Ring. It supplements your statutory consumer rights and the standard limited warranty. Please review the following terms carefully before purchasing or activating NovaRing Care+. If you do not agree to these terms or have any concerns, please discontinue the process. By checking the agreement box or submitting your information during registration or checkout, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted the NovaRing Care+ Terms and Conditions. This agreement is legally binding, and you affirm that you are authorized and capable of accepting and complying with its terms on your own behalf.

1. Service Scope & Eligibility

1.1      Eligible Devices: NovaRing Care+ only covers new Nova Smart Rings purchased directly from the Nova official website (www.novaring.com). It does not apply to any replacement products provided by Nova, or to devices that are pre-owned, refurbished, or purchased from unauthorized sources.

1.2     Covered Components: NovaRing Care+ covers the ring body, including the outer shell, internal sensors, components, and display. It does notcover accessories such as charging cases, sizing kits, packaging, or promotional items.

1.3     Personal Use Only: NovaRing Care+ is intended for personal, non-commercial use. Devices used for rental, resale, or promotional activities are not eligible. Violation of this policy may result in termination of your Care+ Service coverage.

2. Coverage Period

2.1       Plan Duration

2.1.1      1-Year Plan: 365 calendar days from activation

2.1.2     2-Year Plan: 730 calendar days from activationRefer to the NovaRing Care+ Guide for detailed activation instructions.

2.2       Purchase Deadline

The plan must be purchased within 30 days of your original ring purchase unless otherwise specified.

3. Service Fees

3.1     1-Year Plan: $29.99 USD

3.2    2-Year Plan: $49.99 USD

3.3    Battery or internal malfunctions caused by manufacturing defects: no service fee

3.4    Diagnostic-only support: no fee

4. What's Covered

NovaRing Care+ includes coverage for:

4.1     Accidental damage caused by drops, impacts, or water ingress.

4.2     Loss due to accidental misplacement or theft.

4.3     Battery degradation (battery health falling below 80%)

4.4     Bluetooth connectivity issues due to hardware malfunction

4.5     Display malfunctions (e.g., flickering, failure not caused by physical damage)

5. What's Not Covered

NovaRing Care+ does not cover:

5.1     Claims submitted after the coverage period has expired.

5.2     Failure to follow the service request procedures.

5.3     Devices not covered under this plan.

5.4     Unauthorized disassembly, modification, or repair.

5.5     Loss of electronic data stored on the covered device resulting from unauthorized access, use, or transmission of malicious code.

5.6     Intentional damage, misuse, or abuse.

5.7     Damage from fire, flood, earthquakes, or other natural disasters.

5.8     Issues caused by the use of third-party accessories.

6. Replacement Policy

6.1     Each approved claim results in a replacement device of the same model, size, and color (subject to availability). If your model is discontinued or out of stock, Nova may provide a functionally equivalent or upgraded model.

6.2    After replacement, your original ring will be remotely deactivated within 30 days.

6.3    To apply for the replacement service, a shipping fee of $10.00 per replacement will be charged. Once your application is approved, Nova will ship the replacement device to you. 

Note: Due to technological advancements and market conditions beyond our control, replacement devices may sometimes be priced lower than your original covered device. This service contract does not cover or compensate for any price differences resulting from such changes.

7. Cancellation & Refund

7.1     If your original device is returned under Nova's return policy, you are eligible for a 100% refund of the NovaRing Care+ plan.

7.2     If your Covered Device is not returned within the designated return period, or if you have already used the Care+ claim, you will no longer be eligible to cancel or exit the Care+ Service.

8. Limitations of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

8.1      Nova shall not be liable for indirect or consequential damages, including data loss or missed health notifications.

8.2     Total liability shall not exceed the original price paid for the NovaCare+ plan.

8.3     NovaRing Care+ benefits are in addition to your statutory consumer rights under applicable laws.

9. General Terms

9.1     Transferability: NovaRing Care+ is not transferable between users unless officially reassigned through Nova support.

9.2     International Coverage: NovaRing Care+ is available globally, but users outside Nova's primary markets may be responsible for shipping and customs duties.

9.3     Data Privacy: By participating in NovaRing Care+, you authorize Nova to collect and use necessary data (device serial number, repair records, and contact info) in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9.4     Termination of Coverage

Nova may terminate your Care+ plan if:

9.4.1     You breach the terms (e.g., submit fraudulent claims, resell the device, conduct unauthorized repairs)

9.4.2    The coverage period ends or your maximum allowed claims are exhausted

9.4.3    The device was not purchased through official channels

9.5      Amendments: Nova reserves the right to modify these terms. Updates will be posted at www.novaring.com/novacareplus/terms and apply to all services rendered thereafter.
