Using Customer Data in Marketing
When you subscribe to Nova's newsletter or register for Nova services, we request your consent to receive marketing communications. By giving your consent, you may receive marketing content such as newsletters, updates about new products and services, or targeted advertisements via social media. Additionally, your data may be used to include you in custom audiences on platforms like Facebook or to send you targeted NPS (Net Promoter Score) surveys and related marketing materials. Some communications may be tailored based on user preferences such as sport type or device usage, and others may be targeted geographically.
You can withdraw your consent for marketing at any time through the marketing messages you receive or directly via Nova services. Upon withdrawal, your name will be removed from all Nova marketing lists.

Our in-house Research Center includes experts in biosignal technology, physiology, sports training, health, and data science who conduct cutting-edge studies on wearable technology, sports performance, physical activity, and sleep.

Error Logs
To deliver optimal support in the event of issues, Nova collects and retains error data from devices ("Error log") for up to two years. When a device is synchronized with Nova services, the Error log is uploaded and stored on our servers. This data is used for error analysis and statistical purposes under our legitimate interest. The Error log may be used when troubleshooting an issue reported to Customer Care and includes only the device ID as an identifier to link the log to the relevant device.

Certain third-party devices are compatible with Nova services. The data displayed in Nova services is determined by the data synchronized from these devices, which can affect data types and accuracy. Nova may share anonymized statistical information, such as the number of third-party devices used with our services or usage statistics, to support partnerships and business relationships with third-party device manufacturers.
In the case of any conflict between the English language version and translations in other languages, the English language will control, unless and except as required by applicable local law.
